Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in the studio, looking after our clients and the logistics of our exciting projects from initial briefing through to installation and aftercare. You will be an integral part of the Projects Team and work closely with the New Business Team, Creative Director, CEO and wider studio to help ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of complex creative projects while collaborating closely with clients, designers, suppliers and the wider studio.
Main Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
● Act as the primary point of contact for clients from initial briefing through to installation and aftercare.
● Build strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive project management.
● Lead client meetings, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.
● Coordinate communication between clients, suppliers, contractors, and the internal team.
Project Delivery
● Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
● Develop and manage project programmes, milestones and delivery plans.
● Identify project risks and resolve issues proactively.
● Coordinate site visits, installations, snagging and project close-out.
Commercial & Resource Management
● Prepare project estimates, quotations, fee proposals, and manage project budgets.
● Negotiate supplier pricing and oversee procurement to achieve best value.
● Work with the Projects Director to allocate resources and manage team workload.
● Monitor project financial performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Creative Collaboration & Technical Delivery
● Partner with Designers to ensure creative concepts are deliverable within programme and budget.
● Advise on materials, fabrication methods, production techniques, and installation approaches.
● Source materials, products, suppliers, and specialist contractors.
● Support continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, improving processes, and mentoring junior team members.
Skills & Experience
● An education in the design field
● Proven experience delivering projects in the design industry at a range of scales and across multiple disciplines
● Experience handling accounts and dealing directly with clients
● Prior project management related experience is preferable
● Experience working with relatively large production budgets up to £500,000
● Excellent organisational skills
● Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
● A passion for quality in every endeavour
● A hunger to constantly improve the studio’s output
● A good knowledge of InDesign
● Working knowledge of CAD software
